Round 3 - Aus-NZ Brain Bee Challenge National Final
Round 3 of the competition is the National Final for Australia and for New Zealand. Individual winners of the Individual Challenge in Round 2 in each State/Region will be invited to participate in Round 3. See our terms and conditions for further information on eligibility.
The two-day competition consists of an anatomy test, a mock patient diagnosis test and two oral question and answer sessions that will determine a single winning representative from Australia and a single winning representative from New Zealand. The Organisers will award a major prize to each of the winning representative from Australia and New Zealand, namely economy airfares and accommodation expenses for the winning students and a parent/guardian for each to attend the International Brain Bee. The Australian and New Zealand Champions have won the opportunity to represent their country in the International Brain Bee Competition (IBBC) being held as part of the American Neurological Association's Convention (October 11-14 2009) in Baltimore, Maryland, USA. It is anticipated that the IBB activities will commence on Sunday evening 11 October, with the competition commencing on Monday 12, continuing on Tuesday 13, and concluding with an evening event.
