Prizes

Students can win microscopes for their schools and great prizes for themselves and their teachers in Round 2 State Final.

The prize for the winner of Round 3 National Final is a return trip to North America and accommodation for two with spending money to compete in the International Brain Bee Competition. Second and third place receive cash and other wonderful prizes.

The greatest prize is arguably the fun students have learning about what we know and what we don't know about how the brain works; the eye opening, mind broadening experience of touring university science labs and watching experiments; and the lasting impressions of meeting neuroscientists who are currently working at the cutting edge of their field on research that may lead to important discoveries that will address the illnesses that affect the brain.
